call of duty 4 problem

Okay, so i downloaded the 1.4 patch, and ever since then ive been getting like 60 servers max when it says there are 9000+ ... whats going on?!? ... i had more servers showing before i installed the stupied patch... My firewall etc are disabled so i dont understand the problem.

Can someone help me? :(

I'm guessing it might have something to do with the fact that not all the servers you were seeing have updated with the 1.4 patch.

I've not played COD4, but I'm guessing the patch wasn't a forced one - ie you chose to update manually. If it's only just been released then the people running the servers may not have got round to updating their servers. If it was a manual update, then I would say that was the problem.

As more servers update to 1.4 you should be able to see more of them.

As an afterthought, double check you haven't checked or unchecked any of the search options when you look for servers

Ahha! ... i got it, yes the servers are all 1.4, but my filter was not showing my any full or empty games. I took the filter off, and there was my 10k servers.
