Some bright spark will probably come up with something but it is not worth it.

You will need an expensive bluray writer.

With the upcoming clamp down by ISPs on illegal downloaders you can expect to be picked up when downloading a 50gb game.

Sony have said they will clamp down on anyone found to be doing this like this. So expect the PS3 to be banned from the online network and stopped from having free updates etc.
