Connecting to Xbox Live using 3G mobile dongle
Having a total nightmare attempting to connect to Live using my 3G dongle. My laptop is running on Windows Vista and so far i've managed to set up the file sharing to my Xbox360 console via a crossover cable (ethernet) Only problem now is connecting the internet so it'll work on Xbox Live. I can see that i've set up a network (when I go into Network and Sharing Centre on the laptop it's coming up the 3G connecting and the ethernet LAN) but it's only allowing limited access to the ethernet port. So basically I need to know-
a) am I using the right cable to begin with? Should I be using a patch cable instead of the crossover cable (oh and what's the difference between them?!)
b) how do I get the access to be not limited and allow me to sign into live on my console?
Any help and advice woud really be appreciated!
Thanks in advance
Amy
