Hey admarlow- welcome to the wonderful world that is WoW ;-)

I play PVE as I'd hate ot have to be looking over my shoulders all the time thiking another player's are going to gank me, it's bad enough the mobs attacking you without some spotty teen oik doing it as well!

If however you like the idea that other players can attack you and obviously you them. then go PVP.

PvP for me personaly but i dropped wow a long time ago now.

Ganking in gaming terms means to be killed by another player, then they sit by your 'corpse' wait till you ressurect, with half your health, then kill you again, then rinse and repeat.

Yeah triggerhippy, on a PVP server it can happen alot- why I never play on one- lol.

You have to remember that whilst alot of us oldies play the game there's still way too many pubescent teens who play, and well....'nuff said eh?
