why do all men play video games

you would think they would grow out of it. but i know 30 year olds you still play video games...what is the point it is mind numbing and its a false perception of self. i believe they begin to believe they are the characters and that makes them feel they have a purpose but that is just mean. any one else got an answer

I personally have a friend who's a girl might I add is an "excellent driver!" (Rain Man)
Being good at driving varies on different people just like games and anything else. It's all to do with how our brains are wired, our spatual ability, our physical strength and good hand eye co-ordination. All these can be trained but some people aren't as naturally good as others.

It's just as I mentioned a little bit before when I answered this question by Meagan. Men were born hunters and women were born to nurture and protect the nest.

So in theory, in this day and age, women are probably better off than men in the fact that they communicate far better than a typical man can. Women can sense so many things too being "nest-defenders".

Women were required to pick up small changes in the behaviour of their offpring that could signal pain, hunger, injury etc. Males being lunch-chasers were never around long enough to learn or read verbal signals. But in spite of all this, men usually have better spatual ability however. Meaning that we can see things in 3D in our minds and be able to read maps with a better sense of direction since we were hunters. This is probably why most architects or building designers are men. Also men sopposedly have better vision directly in front of him, although women can't see as clear but they have a wider vision so they're more aware of their surroundings at close distance. Hence the whole radar detection women have, they have eyes in the back of their heads!

Lets say that you're a girl and you're walking with your guy... he spots a hot looking girl walking past, he looks at her only for a moment in hopes that you won't catch him but you do. Well that's because he's just absolutely crap, his eyes can only see straight ahead so either his eyes obviously moved or his head did!! Men have tunnel visions. If it was the other way round however, when women oogle at a hot guy walking past, your man won't be able to ever tell!! That's because you have a wider arc of vision so neither your eyes of head move ohh you cheeky girls!!!

But guys you can increase your peripheral vision range with practice just like fighter pilots do. :)

Lets just say that, women should drive during the day and men should drive during the night if it's a long drive!

Meagan you are completly right.

I am 12 years old. I was playing my games too loud last night and my mother told me to turn it down and grow up! I instantly turned off my game. Destroyed my console and have started researching loans and the credit crunch.
I feel I am a better person for stopping playing games that help me de-stress and challenge me rather than watching TV.

Ermmm.... DUHH
People play games because its fun!
And it isn't just Men! This is a ridiculous question.
