Is Online Bingo fixed?
Does anyone know if there is any real truth in online bingo sites fixing wins, by using dummy punters, so they don't have to payout so much to genuine players?
I've played a number of games on one of the major Bingo sites and noticed the same user names win over and over again.

I quite agree with the others - it does seem fixed. You tend to win one day - but they manage to reel you back in and you loose whatever you have won.
When one player is winning and you see them going 'ooh won £100' and then another win and another win - other players are loosing. Then suddenly another person starts winning and the winner starts loosing. That is probably because they are only going to pay out a certain amount of money. They give people the feel good factor and they feel they are having a lucky day but then they start loosing - it is at this point that the winner player who is now loosing gets panicky and starts playing to win back their winnings. But hey ho before you know it you have nothing left in your account.
The best bet is just to play and if you win - draw it out quick.
I used to have a lot of accounts but now only have two. I put on £10 a week with one and £20 a month with the other. This month the one that I play £10 a week - I withdrew £21.10 and the other that I put £20 a month on - it must have been my lucky day as I withdrew £1090. I did manage to get up to £1188 but realised I was loosing and thought oh no - withdraw withdraw.
If I win just a £1 sometimes I just withdraw.
I now play bingo on facebook instead - its free and more fun and you get collection items - much better than using your hard earned money to play in the on-line bingo clubs.

i wouldnt say its fixed or they have bots. i play bingo often and yes i have won more than i have deposited. i do notice wierd things happen and regualr winners, however, i do not think they are bots. in my personal opinion.. i think the whole site is a very clever program that either learns everyones routine play and how much you deposit and win or keeps track of everyones balance, how much they have spent, lost and won. by doing this the program will balance the whole site out to keep a regular income for the site. i.e if a player wins big and plays back most of it the program will learn this and give a win once or twice but not often to keep the player spending. on the other hand there might be a player who wins and deposits staight away, for this the site may give a couple small wins to keep him interested and so he deposits again in the hope of a big win but never letting out a big win untill the money he's won has been put back in. basicly a hudge fruit machine balancing out the wins and losses so the regualr win chases are kept in depositing and winning now and again and the not so regular players getting caught on a hook to play again vis versa. this way the profit is always there. if this wasnt the case then winners would win and go, and loosers would go, the site would crumble and the balance would not be there. rng.. does not give a balance, rng would be random, random would not have regular winners and players who win big then nothing for a while then win big. its all just a fruit machine in the style of a bingo hall. fruit machines arnt illegal nor a con, they are designed to pay out but make a profit. this is exactly what the bingo sites are like, infact.. what most online gambling sites are like.
I hope it's not, but I suspect that it is. I have played online bingo for a few years now and have never won what I would consider to be a substantial amount compared to the amount I have wagered.
However, I have to say that the best explanation for how it may work is the one that random gave.
I do get tired of seeing the same names winning and even assuming that those people are buying the maximum number of tickets allowed for the game, if I buy maximum tickets too my chance of winning surely should be equal to theirs...and yet they are still raking in the cash and often taking all the prizes in a game, (line, two lines and jackpot).

definately fixed there is 1 player called cotty11 and as soon as she logs on you can guarantee she wins the big houses, she stays on site for 1 hour then logs out but later on she logs in again and yes she wins again, i had a go about her in chat and she barated me about people picking on her and then the cm says you will be banned i went back on gala about three weeks later and yes she still wins the big jackpot games, if she is real she must be winning over 20thousand a week of gala i dont think any1 is that lucky especially when you read about some people who have lost a fortune with no win , if anybody doubts what im saying just go on gala and when you see cotty is signed in the room just see how lonng before she wins. somebody once said wow cotty you been here for 45 minutes before u won and she responded with oh another 1 haveing a go at me but she never responded again .i even wrote to watchdog but never heard back off them , if you check where all the online bingo sites are based you will see they are in gibralta so the uk gambling commision has no control over them seems a bit of a coincidence so who is controling them thats what i would like to know
its more than the companys worth to fix games ! and some players are just more lucky than others it is frustrating when you see the same names winning but they have paid for their chance to win the same as everyone some people are just born lucky but you can always right to whoever regulates the bingo you have a grievance with and if there really was some big conspiracy dont you think the newspapers would be all over it ? .. heres hoping you get lucky soon ps im not one of the names you see winning often
Here is a question, if they are not answerable to the UK gaming commission, who are they answerable to?
I joined a site ( take a break bingo) and at first I did not deposit, they repeatedly emailed me. So one day when I was bored I asked my Dad if I could use his debit card to play and he agreed. Over three days I deposited money. No problems, and no wins. ON the third day I won a full house and withdrew £70. I was so excited. The day after I got an email. They wanted three different forms of ID.
1) passport, driving license or birth certificate
2) photocopy of the debit card
3) a recent bill
all this before they will pay me out my winnings.
and they said:

Deposits are instant because we want you to play immediately. When you make a deposit, it means that you want to play so we don't want you to wait longer. ID Verification is a measure we have put in place to protect you, our player and to ensure that we are sending your well-deserved winnings to the correct person to whom the account is registered. In addition to this, it provides additional checks against credit card fraud and identity theft.
Notice they do want to wait to take your money, but they make us wait to get it back !
My dad is furious . They are a RIP off, cheating gits and there is NO where anyone can go to complain because they are not answerable to anyone.

Not fixed as such, no. The site will be playing by the legal rules, otherwise they'd be crazy to burn a money making business. What "fixed" if you want to use that term, is the fact that hackers can and do target gambling sites and manipulate the outcomes to make money using software. Its been happening for years now and there are many example cases online. In bingo, they try to keep it unnoticable. But like you said, its becoming more and more blatant in-you-face. They get off with it because the bingo site/casino are legal and dont want to stop the ball rolling while theyre creaming in the money. It only stops when news of the scam gets reported in major news.

There are numerous things that we could (and surely will) cite about “The Bingo Affiliates Network. For starters, they are an unlicenced bingo network, thus they have no regulation or supervision. Per their terms and conditions, what they say is final and binding. Thus, they can decide to keep your money, tell you they are not giving your money back, and their decision is final and binding. Spelled out, players have no remedy to recovery of their funds when playing at any of these rogue bingo sites.
Second, they have policies in place that are not very player friendly. They lack the ability to cash out more than $1000 per week per person. This is when they in fact choose to cash out players. There are numerous complaints around the Internet of insanely slow pays, no pays, and horrible customer support. This of course, is without mentioning the $100 cash-out fee for US players in addition to the $50 check delivery fee.
Finally, there is reports of misleading information being published on their various websites in an attempt to increase the “credible appearance”
I have Played at these sites for many years, they are quite happy to take your money...but if you win enough they will make up a lame excuse and shut down your account without any explanation. Please do not get scammed by these people...they will suck you in!

The sites dont have to cheat. But there are groups who can use the software to cream from bingo sites, thats plainly obvious to anyone who has played a few bingo sites. The same names win continuously when, if you know anything about probablility and statistics they not only jut well above the average line, but do it for entire days on end. And its the same for the others in the group, again easy to spot them. Trouble is, the companies are not losing from it, so will do nothing about it even if they could.
100% rigged. Some sites employ people to create accounts and play but not take winnings. FACT. ALL sites have backdoor entry that the sites cannot control so you will see the same winners regular, this isnt the site, theyre not so stupid to do this themselves, but when you see this and mention it, they ban you or block your chat so you do not alert others to it. They can never admit it EVEN if they too notice it, because the industry would have to stop trading. They will deny any it all and say its governed etc etc, which is it, but any software has vulnerablilities and this one has been taken advantage of for year without the industry being able to do anything about it, so they pretend its all luck. Probablility and statistical analysis proves the same winners vs same number of cards is far higher than expected (which CAN happen) but this happened every session every day! You are being cheated!
