decided to get the kids a nintendo wi for xmas! It comes with one contoller! Do i need a nun chuck too? or will the controller be ample? very confused!!!! julie

You need to get another Wii remote and nunchuk, as most games have very good two player modes.

You ideally want two of each to get the most out of the Wii.

As already stated, you get 1 remote / nuncuck in the box, you then will ned up 3 more of each for upto 4 players. Then also if you are going to be buying old games from the virtual console you will need to buy probably 2 of the classic controllers as well. as some of these games require, it but not all as some also work with just the remote or a game cube pad.

It can end up being quite expensive.

Yeh I totally agree with the other posters.

I got a Wii last year. I think a second control and Nunchuk are a must.
The by far most fun part of the Wii is the multiplayer, great times looking stupid :) So definitely get a second controller. Even get another 3 if your going to have 4 people playing.
