X box live
I am thinking of getting xbox live. Its only 34 for year.
It might be a silly question, but can i still use my laptop whilst playing on that xbox live?
I am on virgin cable and have no wireless stuff. My laptop is connected to a box(modem?) via a usb port.
cheers...

Most virgin modems I've see are ethernet not USB...
As ,long as it is ethernet then you can use your computer and xbox at the same time but you will have to get your self a router to enable more than one device to use the internet at the same time.

Make sure it is a cable router and not a ADSL router you get though. and if you don't need to use it turn the wireless off
