Has anyone won anything on Swoopo?
Has anyone been on www.swoopo.co.uk and actually won an auction? if so, how much did you spend on bids in order to win it? Was it worth it? If you can work the maths out, whoever invented it is making a fortune whilst the customers that wins the auction gets a real bargain! Not sure what category to put this under.

It works well if you manage to win one of the Freebid auctions as then you can use a load of bids to try and win, otherwise it's a real waste of money.
I saw a TV go for nothing the other day that sells for over 1000. However, there had been so many bids that cost 25p each that the company got over 9000 from the bids.
Rip-off, but greedy people don't see that bit of it. If it seems to good to be true, then it is IMO

I didn't see it as a rip off, as long as you limit the bids you put on, and are aware each one costs 50p, then you can get a bargain. Yes, the company are making a fortune, but they are up front about how much bid costs so its up to the consumer. I may have a go but will be very careful how many bids I buy.
