Oblivion has the expansions - Knights of the nine and Shivering Isles.
Both games are set on the same world but in different regions and have no connection between the stories exept that in Oblivion, some overheard conversations mention your exploits in Morrowind.
Both games are excellent in my opinion as you are free to develop your character in your own way. You don't even have to follow the story line and can be a freelancer throughout, though you will need a decent PC to run Oblivion properly.
On a side note there are two other games set before these named The Elder Scrolls and Daggerfall but you will need a DOS emulator to get these to work.
