What do you think of NXE?

Those of you that are using is what do you make of it? A rip off of the Wii and PS3 or do you think it was something they planned way back?
I think it's nice and I hope we only get more for paying LIVE membership. Do you also think PS3 and Wii will do something similar and improve their dashboards?

It does look nice and it feels nice, the avatars are ok but need more additions which I'd imagine will grow through updates. The cool bit is you can install your games into the hard drive which I like but it means investing on the 120HD for that to really work!
I haven't used the party up thing yet so I've no idea what that would be like. But something feels missing though, it's very Windows Media Centre feel to it in my opinion. I don't want to say it but I will, there's something missing!!!

i like it too but it needs more. i dont like the way when you see a party you have to wait for it to scroll thru the members to find the one person you know.
also the hdd install is good but the only real benefit is the noise reduction. they need to figure a way to let you play without inserting the dvd.
