My Sims Kingdom

I have just got the Sims Kingdom game and I am completely stuck, I am on Rocket Reef and am at the part where you have to hook up the generator to the turbine and then connect the wires to the two computers, but no matter how many times I try to do this, the wires don't match up, can anyone provide a way to do this? Thanks in advance.
