Hi, my son recently completed a game and never saved it, then when he put it on again it said the game has gone corrupt or damaged and he had lost all previous data, any ideas what went wrong and can it be restored? Thanks. K.

Simply not saving the game would not corrupt it. Sounds like the game card has become damaged in some way. If the DS will play other games ok then its just the game but if it wont play anything then the ds may have broke

Out of intrest, had your son accidentally dropped the game anywhere or gotten any liquid on it?. I have had a similar problem with my copy of pokemon ranger for the ds, I finally completed it one day, and the next day, I was walking with it, and I accidently tripped and dropped it, and the whole file became corrupted, so I had to restart it. It doesn't sound like it is a problem with the ds though, if you haven't had any problems with other games that is.

Hi thanks for replies. the ds is still working with other games and he said he hasnt dropped it at all. mind you we got it off ebay so dont know if the previous owner has dropped it, or maybe thats why they sold it : (
