Hi samwin they have a wii. I see Argos are doing half price games. Guinness book of records and mini golf; any idea what they are like?

Mario and Sonic at the Olympics is good for all ages if you don't already have it, although a Wiimote and Nunchuk for everyone would be a good idea with that one - makes it a lot more fun.

Mario Party 8 is another good one as the girly girl can be Princess and stompy boy can be Mario or Bowser, it's like Snakes and Ladders, but with mini games thrown in and some devious tricks to play on your opponents.

Carnival Party Games and Guiness Book of Records both look quite fun, although I haven't played either of them yet.

If I recall on the reviews I read, they were both good, though I also have not played them yet. A game that would also be good for them would be mario kart wii, dogz for the wii or mario galaxy

At their age, you can't go wrong with either MarioKart or Sonic Unleashed. Both have plenty within the games so they wont get bored and excellent graphics etc.

paper mario (involve lots of reading though)
any of the rayman games
