Anybody help with setting up XBox Live please - got a 12m subscription but no Wireless Router - was looking to connect via an Ethernet Cable f.t.b. Have tried this but when the Set Up Test is being run on the console it is suggesting that IP address is wrong - I am not a technophobe but when you click on more information there are all sorts of numbers and suggestions - is there any easy way to fix this or should I just buy the XBox live kit with the wireless router? Thanks in advance

If you have no wireless router then don't bother buying the wireless kit for the Xbox, it will be a waste of money.
I'm assuming you have a wired router at the moment. If so, you'll need to mess around with that to get it to allocate an IP to your 360. If you're running an Ethernet cable from the back to the Ethernet port on your computer then you'll need to mess around to sort the network connections out.
