psp memory query

I have a Sony PSP, with a 4mb memory card inserted, 3904mb space available. I wish to play the GoSudoku game I purchased recently but when I start it a message appears saying I have insufficient space, 544kb required, so nothing can be saved. But I've been able to save other games on the same card all requiring approximately the same space or more.
Anyone know why this is happening?
