I have loggied into xbox live no problems, played Halo 3 etc. But when it comes to COD when I try to find a match such as free for all it keeps testing matches and will not find any players. Any ideas?

I had no problem finding matches a couple of days ago. Plenty of players in the lobbies. Suggest you try again as may have need a connection glitch.

Hi thanks I did check my NAT and it was set to open so realy I have no idea. It seems many people have this problem but no one knows the answer? Weird.

In my experience the problems are always NAT related but if yours is open then this is a puzzler.
Have you tried joining players from your recent players list?
maybe its a problem as a whole,

Well the thng is I dot have any COD recent players because I can never find a game. Strange really. I play on Halo and find a match within 3-8 minutes in LONE WOLVES. Vibe I havent got a usb head set no. May buy one though as this live thing is actually really quality fun.
You should be able to find a game in Halo within 3-8 seconds not minutes!
Bit of an exaggeration but it should defo be far quicker than the times you mention.

Maybe its my connection then as I am pretty much out in the dessert here. I get a lot of in game lag too which causes me to die far too quickly like (well thats what I blame it on).
IF you are on a connection with a slow ping you can also have problems finding games.

But it would be worth turning on UPnP in your router if it's an available option to so if that helps.
*see if that helps
Question Author
Chuck how would I go about doing that?
Go, on, give me a clue as to what router you have.... it's a sunday I'm giving my crystal ball a day off :)
Question Author
Oh right ok I will check when I get home I am not sure. Thanks.
if, when you know what router it is, try googling for "router make and model + upnp"

For example

http://lmgtfy.com/?q=netgear+WGR614+upnp

It a simple on/off setting so there is nothing complicated to setup, just enable it and google will probably point you in the correct direction for this.

If not post back the make and model.

If only my connection was fast enough. Would be very good to have a team though.
