Tiger Woods 11

I'm playing tiger woods PGA tour 11 on x box 360 and my character that I created will not allow me to increase power or swing boost any more than 85% despite having tournament winnings that would allow me to purchase more power and boost to the maximum available. How can I get more power and swing boost? Cheers
