Good Morning!

I spent a few quid on ZenoClash over the weekend and finished it last night.

And it was cracking good fun.

A first person brawler a little akin to Ready2Rumble in the melee fighting style. Fighting off multiple baddies and mastering blocks, reversals and the like makes for tense fights.

The game has been created by Chilean devs ACE Team and it has an art style best described as "Dali does the Flintstones"

It is a short, sweet, slightly creepy game - very linear, but with a well told mythology which swings through illusions to the child snatcher, Freudian fallacies and the fisher king. Not often you can say that about a FPS(B) !

There are long-range weapons, but they fit within the stone-age-punk aesthetic and, as such, aren't exactly the most useful things. There are fish guns though.

Frankly we've got enough games about WW2 and fighting generic terrorists from Eastern Europe/Middle East - this is a breath of fresh air!

I think it is on XBLA Vibra, yes.

Just to warn you, you may want to start on Hard mode to get the most out of it, or start with a few challenges - on normal (the default setting) I got about 5 hours play out of the "campaign".

Saying that, the COD single player is quite short too isn't it?

I was really happy with it over all, especially like the blocking/reversals in hand to hand..

All the best,

Sadly *I* don't have an X-Box, PC gamers for the time being.

The Ed (the one which aint spare) does - I'll send him over.

I've heard good things about Operation Flashpoint - but all from people who have been in some kind of army training (but not necessarily have been in the real army).

All the best,
