Dizzy - codemasters

Does anyone remember the Dizzy platform games from codemasters, are they availible on the PS2 or DS Lite? A bit of a long shot I know!!

i remember them! as far as i know the last format that had any Dizzy game was for the megadrive which was cool for that time....

hard to imagine how dizzy would fit in amongst the current gaming community!! lol!!
cant imagine him being anything more than a kids novelty act or pure nostalgia for the rest of us....

no, i must only have been about 8 at the time, with a mum and dad who never bought anything (well not quite, but it feels like it at that age!!!)lol, I only got the free games with the magazines, that half the time never loaded!!

aint it funny how the loading times didnt bother u back then but now they would be like absolute hell....

i know, now i get frustrated if i have to wait like 30 secs for something, but then yeah we'd listen to that squeeling and watch the stripey screen for an eternity!!!!!!

did you ever try putting one of those old games into a normal cassette player? kinda sounded like something that would pass for todays chart music!!! lol!!

haha, well I am 28!!!!!!!!!!!hahaha. Is the atar, the one you plugged into the tv. I loved that! We seemed to be a bit behind the times in our house......we got our first video player years after everyone else!!that does make me feel old!

we were the same in our house...

at least those games back then would never have contributed to the old "corrupting the youth of today" argument!! although pacman did some serious pill popping that made him invincible to the dead...lol!!

in fairness, when i was young i had to fight with my dad to get playin my atari 2600 n thats how i learnt pretty much every swearword i know now...lol!!
