Childrens Wii game

Hi

Some of my family is clubbing together to get my nephew a Wii for his 8th birthday, can anyone reccomend good games for his age group?

There are so many games on the market now what we did when we 1st got our wii was join game frenzy it's charges you every month to borrow the games they are posted to your house and it's free returns, Once we found a game we liked we bought it 2nd hand from ebay what we saved on the games we used to pay for next months fee to try some more. As far as i can remember there isn't a min contract either so you can cancel as and when.

we just got samba de amigo today, its good fun but you'd need 2 remotes to use as maracas, 4 remotes for a 2 player game.

Emergency Heroes is good for the boys, you have to drive futuristic police cars/ fire engines around the city chasing baddies or putting out fires

My kids are 8 and they love Boom Blox. It's like playing giant jenga!

There are plenty of family friendly games out there such as
Super Mario Galaxy(A great Platformer suitable for all)
Lego Star Wars/Indiana Jones/Batman(All brilliant)
Mario Kart Wii(Superb fun and the Wii Wheel is fun to use)

wii sports is good but it comes with the wii so i guess you've got that already, mario kart is good,
