Croft Manor (Tomb Raider - Anniversary edition (PS2))

Hi, in Croft Manor, I collected the Decorative Bow from under the pool, then continued underwater through the pool tunnel, collected the Elephant Artefact, and saved at the checkpoint, but ran out of time and Lara drowned before I could pull the lever and get out of the pool.

So having saved the game before drowning, I thought I would still have the artefacts, and it says in the statistics that I've collected 8/8 artefacts. But when I went to the garden maze to place the Decorative Bow and Arrow, I had the arrow, but no bow in the items screen. What happened to it?

I went back and checked the pool, but I can't find it. Where do I find the Decorative Bow to place in that statue in the garden maze please?
