mariokart online???

when playing mariokart online how is it that when other players fall off the edges of the track it takes seconds for them to come back on but when i fall off the edge it takes a lot longer for me to recover its really annoying! thanks in advance xxx

i think Samwin is correct as the server would need to post back to your console. are you playing worldwide or continental? if you have a PC connected to the same internet line, trying pinging the nintendo servers to see if the response time is slow

enter the following command into Command Prompt (to get Command Prompt, click START > RUN > CMD)

Ping nus.cdn.shop.wii.com -l 1500 -t

ideally you want to see the time to be around or less than 30ms. a slower time may be your firewall, internet speed or just the nintendo servers responding slowly
