Playing the LAST mission Mafia (20) and every time i go to Yellow Pete's for weapon's he says "get away from here" i am going mad as can't get to kill Sam and complete - please help me

the same happened with me mate ... i thought it was a **** game ... then i got into it ... but iv just left it ... i tried everything.
