Jarmy/Jermy family of Norwich

I guess this is a long shot, but has anyone here got Jermy ancestors in Norwich?
My 2xgr grandfather NATHANIEL MILLER married ANN JARMY 1819 at St Peter Parmentergate, Norwich.
Four years later, 1823, he marries RUTH JERMY whom we think could be Ann's sister(?) again in St Peter Parmentergate. Their son Henry Jermy Miller is my gr grandfather on my father's mother's side.
However, I have been unable to find the births of either Ann or Ruth, despite searching other Norwich church records. I presume Ann died, but cannot find her death either.
There is a Jermy family website, but I still have drawn a blank.Any suggestions? ( It's a bit like Clementine"So I kissed her little sister and forgot my Clementine")

I found an ANN JARMY Christened 27. 1.1788 at Trowse, Norfolk the daughter of Edmund & Hannah.

Also ANN JERMY Born 2.11.1796, Christened 6.11.1896 at Sprowston, Norfolk, daughter of John Jermy & Mary Chester.

Do you know when your GGF Henry Jermy Miller was born, as this would give a starting date to look at death records and censuses?

A Nathaniel Miller was buried 18. 8.1847 at St John Timberhill, Norwich, as was an Ann Miller on 12. 5.1822

I haven't been able to trace the birth of any likely Ruths, but perhaps someone like Craft1948 may be able to.

Dear twix123 thank you so much for your help. That is a wonderful start to research on that elusive family. I wonder if they WERE sisters. There could be such a tale to tell that will always be a secret. I guess the Timberhill deaths may indeed be the Nathaniel and Ann from my tree. Nathaniel is certainly dead by the 1851 census as Ruth is down as a widow. Henry J Miller was born 21.01.1838. It would be very touching if he chose to be buried by his first wife.Apologies for gap in replying. We have had big anniversary at church, so there all day.

In the 1851 census, Ruth is down as born in Panxworth.

I can't help with this but the word Norwich caught my eye.

I walk past St John Timberhill fairly regularly. If there's anything I can check in the churchyard for you, klet me know and I'll give it a go.

I don't know if you have tried this but I obtained quite a bit of information from the following newspaper site. Just type in "British Newspaper Archive Home" and it will display 81 pages of cuttings from newspapers frpm the 1800s. I put in the name Jarmy and there were extracts from the Norwich Post and the Norfolk Chronicle. The extracts they publish are free but to get the full details you have to pay. What little bit they show might be of interest to you

Thank you all so much. I am Norwich born and bred for 21 years, Maidup, tho have lived in Leicester for over 50 years now. I can picture you walking past St John, Timberhill.Were you born in Norwich?
And thank you for your helpful link, ironmonger,(Harry), as I shall enjoy researching the papers. When I looked at the South Eastern Gazette at the Maidstone library while researching my gr grandfather Groom, the assistant brought up from the bowels of the earth a huge, year's worth, of bound weekly broadsheets of 1912 and she dumped them on the desk and I and everyone else was enveloped in a cloud of dust!!(This was in 1998 I think.Aren't we spoilt with the internet riches?)

PS Maidup, yes I have been on all your links before. They are relevant and I did print out the pages, for the photos of the churches, all giving background for my family who are born and bred Leicester and don't know Norwich as I do.
PPS Were you at school in Norwich?
