Am I right in calculating that 6 Nov 1726 is 15 months before 19 Feb 1727?

i've written it out now to make it clearer, if the first day of 1726 was Mar 25th, the last day was Mar 24th, so the first day of 1727 was March 25th, the first february in 1727 was therefore 15 months after Nov 1726, is that not right?
Question Author
no 3 months after nov 1726 was february 1726 surely
I'm sure there's a spreadsheet macro on the Net that can work this out for you. I'll see if I can rediscover it.
No just 3 months - Dec 1726 Jan 1727 then Feb 1727.

no january 1726 comes after december 1726
Sure this is not where I first encountered it, but http://spreadsheetpage.com/index.php/file/C37 seems to have the XDATE (extended date) macros which allow you to measure between dates and other stuff.

yes it's 15 months that's what i got but only by writing it all out, would one of those worksheets manage the pre 1752?
Try the links Dot, they are designed to correct Excel spreadsheet date flaws. You install the macros and then can use them when writing the formula in the cell. Easy enough to use but you need to ensure the Excel macro security is at a level to allow you to run them.
Can someone tell me what's special about 1726/27 to make this possible? I know it's a little early but i am totally confused!
