.I think i have found what i am looking for on Ancestry .com but i dont have a credit card . What can i do?
I have tried other sites but the information i want does not appear to be on these.

My Mum's family are from Grantham, Frampton and Kirton in Holland, I have done many many searches in the Parishes there, the name Mckeown is not one of the local names necessarily. The Lincolnshire Family History Society have done most of the Monumental Inscriptions for the Parishs and they are inclused in the National Burial Index I think. i can search that, but not tonight I am shattered and working at 9am.

my father was born 19/6/1923 and john 31/12/1924 .my father did not know he had a brother until his mother died in 1986,they remained married,edward died 1982

You may be interested to know that libraries in my area have a subsciption to a "Libraries' Edition" of Ancestry.com and free enquiries are available on the library computers.

Thought you may be interested to know that on the computers in our local library it is possible to access Ancestry.com or Ancestry .co.uk (I'm not sure which) at no cost.

Glenb is right. but you nee to have a library card and a pin number.
