A colleague of mine is trying to trace a sister she hasn't seen since about 14 years ago.

Other family members (all other sisters, her mother and an uncle she was close to) have since passed away and she has no idea whether her sister knows and there are matters which need to be sorted after her mother's recent passing away.

Her name was Patricia Bernadette Claire McNeill, born the 7th August 1964 in Salford and went to St Andrews RC School on Tatlow Lane in Salford.

It's unknown whether she married or had any children and would be 44 now.

We've tried the electoral roll, phone book, Facebook and Friends Reunited but no luck yet.

It would mean a huge amount if anyone could help.

Thank you in advance for any help give.

Have you tried 192.com? They charge a small fee (5 I think), but they trace lost relatives.

Hi, yes tried them, got some credit for it but no joy, thanks for the suggestion though.
Have you tried looking up just Patricia McNeill on Google.co.uk?

Yes, came up with some results but not the one we were looking for unfortunately :(
Has your friend tried searching, or placing a message on Uk People Finder ?

I did this & a long lost nephew read it, then contacted me. He & his mother were happily reunited after 39 years.

Good luck.

Wow! Thanks for that Smudge, I've forwarded it to my friend so we can give that a try as well.

Thank you :)
You're very welcome jen & wish your friend the same luck as our family did.

P.S. Being reunited with our J & his litte family, was the best thing to have happened to his Mum & all our family. I only wish my Mum & Dad was still alive to meet him, but sadly not.....

Take care.

You could try the Salvation Army. I don`t know if they charge but I believe they are very good.
I've used Finder Monkey a few times to track people down - so could be worth a try. cost around 30. Good Luck Jen.
