why would you ask such a bizarre question?
Question Author
just out of interest! do you know the likelyhood or not?
and you are both natural blondes?
maybe its just better to just be straight with him...............................(im kidding yeah!)
is the milkman ginger by any chance?
For God's sake, Sarah obviously asked cos she wants to know!!!!! Someone please answer the question!!
well, she didn't answer my question, which bears some relevance, don't you think?
If you have ginger genes then its quite possible, however the ginger element is more likely to be a hint of ginger rather than a full on red, it depends how "strongly" ginger your families already are.

If you are both natural blondes with one of you having ginger in the family one likelyhood could be a strawberry blonde child, the same genetic pattern may only been seen in one sex (all the women may be more gingery than the men)

its quite complicated because there are a lot of options, you would have to look at your relatives for clues.
both my parents had dark hair, my sister is mousey blonde, my brother has dark brown hair and im titian. The red hair skipped one generation from my grandfather to me on my mothers side. Its either that or she forgot to tell me something!
But as the ^^ you will probably produce a hint of ginger rather than a full of ginger/red headed child.
My Mother-in-Law and one of her brothers were both red heads. My Sister-in-Law is blonde, Mr Spudqueen has dark brown hair and their brother has light brown hair. My Sister-in-Law has three children, one strawberry blonde, one brunette and one blonde. How their children will turn out is anyones guess.
anyone know how many times this exact question has been asked now in the last 5 years? my best guess is 15
Of course it'd be possible sarah. My sister was born with very light ash blonde hair, and her husband's quite light as well. Their first child had extremely red hair, which was passed down from a grandfather. The next child was strawberry blonde, and the next two were blonde like their mum and the rest of us.
