Was it just me or did it seem a bit "low-key"? I remember Fiona Bruce saying she hoped her family wasn't going to be boring and it would be unfair to label Mr Stein's family in that way, but I missed the usual "you thought your ggg grandfather was safely forgotten but we've brought him here to see you tonight" routine that they managed so well with Angus McGowan and Boris Johnson. It just seemed very "local" in its coverage, really concentrating on just two people and not very far in the past. From Rick Stein's point of view, however, they were probably the two people it was most important to find.
