Reading a family tree I've come across the initials osp before a date i.e John Smith osp 1685. Does anyone know what this stands for?

I may be wrong but it could mean this-
Old Saint Paul's Scottish Episcopal Church ~ ...OSP
I have been doing geaneology for a few years now and have come across many unusual abbreviations.
