My brother Steven

Hi,
Can someone, please help me to find my brother Steven, who, was adopted before my birth?
Steven, was born 1955, I, do not know, when, he, was adopted, being, as, my mum was only 14
at the time, I would imagine, it was quite soon afterwards.

It's a very very emotional and difficult process to try to contact adopted relatives, there needs to be a total supension of every positive expectation before the search begins and then there is not going to be a great disapontment, distancing yourself from the emotions is hard but you have to be analytical and prepared for rejection and then anything more than that is good news.

Thanks, I'll try the link to the websiste, been, looking Steven, for ages, although, I beleive, it was a private adoption, arranged by my nan/granddad, I, still, feel, it went through the courts, being, as, it says, "Adopted", on his birth cert.

Yes if it says so on his original birth entry it was official and should mean you have a good chance of making contact through the link I gave you.
