recieved max bresner marriage certificate to beatrice goddard.
max's father is on the certificate and his name is also max bresner and he was deceased when the marriage took place in 1895.
so although im delighted to have gone back a futher generation in my family tree, i know its going to be a struggle to trace this max as ive exhausted all information on 'max bresner'.
just thought id update you and thank you once again for all your help on this

I've found two of the daughters staying with an aunt or uncle as well, so I'll post those in a mo.

hey I lived at Llantwit Major when i was first married, there is a huge cement works still on the coast there, Blue Circle Cement it was in the 1970s, near the airport.
Bridgend is 10 miles west of LLantwit and there are quarries all around there. Penarth is about 10 miles the other side of Llantwit nearer to Cardiff, all those places have docks/ports.

So by my reckoning we just need to find child number 6!
My guess is that Mary Ann was Beatrice's sister.
