FindMyPast subscription offer

I've had an email about the new subscrioptions sometime earlier today, but I've just had another one offering me 15% discount on any of the subscriptions, and so if anyone is thinking of taking a sub. out, hang fire for the offer email!!!

that takes a £67.75 foundation package (including the 1911) to £57.58 for 6 months. that's almost reasonable. lol £33.95 for 6 months 1911 on it's own, not bad.

In my experience these Findmypast subscription offers are not what they appear to be. I took advantage of their latest 10% off a Full subscription offer. When completing the application I was charged the full amount. On checking "My Account Details" I saw that what they were offering was the 10% discount when my subscription is automatically renewed in 6 months time. This discount(Loyalty Discount) is normal and not a special offer at all.

I have demanded a full refund under the distant selling regulations.
