2001 census....did I complete?

I am quite sure I never completed a census back in 2001, is there any way I can find out? Since starting my family tree a couple of years back I now see the importance of this and so would like to know if I did complete one and if I didn't, could I now (for back then) ?

no you can't , and yes you probably did, it was a yellow form.

I don't remember completing one for 2001 either. I've been living in my house since 1996.

I haven't completed one this time as I am abroad. Will I still be able to do it in May?

in the couple of weeks after the 27th March but the deadline is before May jno, you should get someone to do it for you I think, as you will be lost forever!

I've got till May 6 so that should be okay, as long as the questionnaire is waiting for me when I get home. I don't want to be lost to posterity, as some of my descendants may become rich and famous and will want to know about their humble forebears.

dotty, it says I need the personal internet access number off the front of the questionnaire, which I don't have. I'm hoping it's waiting for me at home. There doesn't seem to be any way of getting them to email it to me, and there isn't time to send a copy of it abroad to me.

Fleebee - even if you can't remember filling in the form, I think you would probably remember paying the fine imposed for not doing so (or going to jail if you didn't pay it)
