Do you think that some of the gentlemen in these photos are possibly prisoners of war? Thank you.

I guess anything is possible, but more likely our serviceman.would be nice if someone could identify one or more of them.
They seem too happy to be Prisoners of War horseshoes ! The place could be a Sanitorium where those suffering from Tuberculosis were treated as it seems to be a Hospital in this country.
How's Bangor ? Only live 2 miles away from there !!

Dennis, I agree. I have reunited some photos with family.

Redman, I think I'm settling on sanitorium. Do you agree though that some of the men seem to have a uniform.

I actually live about 3 miles outside Bangor. Isn't it glorious today - I watched the wedding service then we drove down to Criccieth, so I've missed "the kiss". I dare say they may show highlights tonight though! I'll bet my house on it.
I think there was a special uniform for wounded servicemen while in hospital. Each of the 2 men at the front (left) of the pictures seem to be wearing it. They're probably all British.
In the 2 Pics on the right the chap at the back seems to have a Military Uniform on but it does not look like a POW Camp to me. It's a Hospital somewhere but where ?
Good weather horseshoes, hope it lasts !
