What a fantastic documentary last night on the History Channel. Cant wait for the final part next Sunday.

If you're interested in that period I would strongly recommend the series "The Nazis. A Warning From History"produced by Laurence Rees in consultation with Sir Ian Kershaw, probably the leading British expert on the period. Containing archive film and interviews with survivors of many of the major events of the period it gives a deep insight into the mind set of the people in power and is considered by many to be essential viewing for serious students of the time. It's repeated fairly often on the History channel.
