Croydon Car Maker
Does anyone know if there was ever a car maker in Croydon called Snow? If so, I imagine it will have been in the early 1900s.

Bradbury's are listed as the first car manufacturer in 1901. Others followed.

I wondered if there was any link to Trojan but I cannot find one and the excellent site "British Motor Manufacturers 1894-1960" which listed all makes of car made in Britain during the period alphabetically seems to have gone down. I do not thik that the the answer will be a component manufacturer, but I might be wrong. I suppose it could be a component manufacturer that once made a car but I must confess I have never heard of one called Snow. A real teaser!
Graham, your link didn't work for me either, and Baldric, your link took me to an entry in Wkipedia relating to the Imperial car - no mention of Snow. Did I miss something? A general internet search for "Snow car" merely brings up thousands of references to snow fall or snow vehicles even if you qualify this by "Croydon". Almost as bad as searching for "Smith"!
