Simple question really. If you could meet anyone in history and ask them one question, who would it be and what would be the question?

For myself, it would Alexander the Great. I would ask if he ever regretted burning the Palace of Persepolis to the ground?

Thanks in advance.

Or, failing that confused, just turn water, hops and yeast into beer. Nice answer by the way.

This was an easy BA, confused. Thank you for answering.
thanks Spoony. It's too late at night for me to think of a sensible, intelligent answer!

Why bother. The funnier the better. You deserve a spoonyaward (whatever that should be).
The Spoony awards. Has a ring to it. Bronze - plastic spoon, Silver - teaspoon Gold - wooden spoon. You couldn't get better prizes than that!

But the biggest, brightest, and best to aim for would be the Platinum Spoony Award.
Mr Spoon (from button moon) really ought to be your avatar.

I agree. Like me, he's a bit of a looker...

...apparently.
I'd like to meet Catherine the Great. My question would be,
"Please would you invite me to one of your parties ?
Her parties were legendary.
It would have to be my great great grandfather. I would ask him what he did with the family fortunes - it has always been a mystery.
Nikolai Gogol, great Russian writer
What was in the second part of Dead Souls?

Nice answer David. Thanks.
Leonardo DaVinci- ill would love to meet the man who did everything, Architecture, art, science, maths.
I'm not sure Alexander himself destroyed Persepolis (quite a bit of it is still there); he's said to have been angry that it happened, and executed the underling who did it.

I'd meet Michael Jackson.

Not sure what I'd ask him. Something about the Illuminati, I suppose. So many questions....

This sounds like one of those old One2One commercials before they became T-Mobile. I'd have to have a bow-wow with Ayrton Senna just to see what made one of the best racing drivers ever tick.
Michael Jackson was associated with the Illuminati?

Hi Spoony :)
My Grandfather. As a child when I asked him about the war (WW1) he would say you don't want to hear that. He had 3 brothers die in that war he was also shot but recovered. I wished he had lived long enough for me to ask him when I was an adult.
