Are you also known as "Jesus" by any chance?
Are you outside the UK ? She's not the queen of England. She's the Queen (and also Queen of Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, Canada, Australia and lots of other countries). :)

Her son, Charles, might remember to send her a card.
Can't fault your optimism but your grasp if British royaly is poor.
I think Thomas means "who would send her a telegram?". I'm sure Obama would be happy to oblige - he seems to think of himself as a step up from her.
Obama was elected by the American people, twice, to be the head of state of their country.

The Queen was just lucky in being born to a royal family.

I think that makes Obama a step up from the Queen.
Not sure if "lucky" is the right word Andrew. I'm sure there are times she wishes she was just plain, ordinary Liz and get some peace!
Very true...but then again she has never had to worry about not having any money to feed the kids.
Neither has most MP's Andrew.
nor as far as we are aware has obama
She could always go and pinch some bananas to feed them, eh Andrew. ;-)
I think the q is OK

It is in a class of self-referential q (actually since she is also Queen of lots of places ! self reverential as well

of the same type as

a barber shaves all the men in the village, does he shave himself ?
you might answer yeh wha ?

however put it as : a barber shaves all the men in the village who dont shave themselves, does the barber shave himself ?

if he does, then he can't be the barber etc.

This led to all sorts of mathematical chaos in 1900s

but also sprouted Godel's theorem.

[ oh and the English dont like the Queen being referred to as the Q of E. Look on it as a fried chicken thing with Tigey. OK to look at but gooey underneath etc....]

When I was writing her royal parchments she was...queen of United kingdom northern Ireland her other realms and territories ..defender of the faith...
I'm sure she can apply to ask herself to send herself a telegram should she wish.

Oh and I feel sure that 'lucky' is the right word.

Bananagate again?! Too early for me to add anything amusing or sarcastic. I have, amazingly, just eaten a banana. :-)
I guess no one would send her one. There isn't anyone who has the same prestige that such a telegram would bring.
Btw, I think it's ok to call her the Queen of England to distinguish her from say, the Queen of Denmark or the Netherlands, so we know who you're talking about. It would be a bit ridiculous to name every country she's queen of every time we mention her.
Oh this an old thread. Sorry for dragging it up again. Just noticed the dates on posts. Don't know where I got it from.
