I have a certificate presented to my grandfather, which roughly translates to:
For his beautiful role in the struggle for the liberation of the Czechoslovak people from centuries of oppression, dedicated to Czech National Association of America." It is dated 1 March, 1919. It is signed by Masaryk, Vojta Benes, and one other person whose name I cannot make out. He is the president/chairman of the Association, I believe. It looks sort of like JT or GT Pirival. Can anyone help? I have a photo of it, but can't see how to attach it or copy and paste to this message.

hmmm... it does look like Pirival or maybe Perival, but I can't find it online anywhere (except as a word in Tamil). Sorry. Someone else may be able to offer better advice.

Thanks, jno. I'm hitting the same roadblocks even when I Google the Czech National Association. And I thought they had more legible writing in the olden days!
