Himself has had two really good days, been awake all day today, eaten lots of food (small meals made up of tasty titbits) and his head is a bit better. I know that he might regress and have bad days but I so realise just how lucky he has been. Thanks to everyone for their kind thoughts and good wishes, x.

Thanks again - I am watching him like a hawk and he is bored out of his brain (which luckily he still seems to have full use of) and I am making sure to eat properly(ish) myself.

Its horrible being ill at any time, but this weather makes it so much harder, for the patient and the nurse. X
