I'll give you a few starters but it's IMPORTANT that YOU think up some of your OWN questions as well!
(Can you tell that I used to be a teacher?)
;-)
1. Why did you want to conquer England?
(Ans: Because I am the rightful King of England. King Edward, who died earlier this year, was my cousin and he had promised me the crown. Further, Harold had promised to give me his support, so I was furious when I found out that he had been crowned as King himself!)
2. Why did you choose to land at Hastings? Wouldn't it have been better to cross the English Channel (or 'La Manche' as I believe you call it) where it's narrower?
(Ans: Much of the coast has high cliffs, which would have made it easier for Harold to mount his defences. Hastings provided a convenient landing point, with Harold's pathetic attempts to hold Senlac Hill proving that his forces were no match for mine)
3. Do you intend to bring your own laws to this country?
(Ans: Of course. I'm the King here now and it will be my laws which everyone must abide by).
