Do any of you know why red penguins can be found on some balconies in Venice?

Apparantly, they are part of an art installation in honour of the Venice Biennial ... the official site of which is here: http://www.labiennale.org/en

Because they out of their natural environment and very hot, therefore red?

Or maybe Italian peguins now think "red is the new black"?
