For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.the American revolution wasn't in opposition to slavery (that was an issue in Haiti); nor was it in response to starvation and antimonarchism like the French, it rose partly out of annoyance at taxation by Britain and partly to a growing feeling of distance from Britain too. The outcomes were similar, however (except that George III lost his head in a different manner from Louis) and so was the vocabulary of the rights of man, partly under the influence of Thomas Paine. You'll have to go through and work out the Latin American, Corsican, Dutch etc revolts yourself, though.
