I have a partial photo of a male relative taken during the Second World War which appears to show the arm badge (circular) of the Western Command with some letters above. The only letter I can make out is`C`. Could anyone tell me what the missing letter(s) could be and what they signify? Thanks

So many possibilities here, but it could be 7th Armoured Division ( The Desert Rats) . The creature's long tail does resemble a 'C'. I'll dig around for you.
