Local Quiz Question
Hi there I am trying to complete a charity quiz about Egypt and 2 questions have me totally stumped, I would be very grateful for any help. Thanking you in anticipation.
Question 1 as written; A magnificent portal or propylon stands in the avenue leading to the Khons at Karnak. Who s it named after?
Question 2 as written; Except for the pyramids which was the largest building in the whole of ancient Egypt and where was it?

maybe Karnak temple, but it depends how you measure these things. Hatshepsut's temple is big but much of it is the ceremonial approach along the road and up flights of steps; I've no idea if these should be counted as part of the area. The basic area is about 2 hectares; Karnak covered about 100 altogether.
