Even the Celts probably came from Gaul...which basically makes them French! The only native people that nobody seems able to provide a 'source' for were the Picts of north-east Scotland. It's not very likely that there exists a purebred one of those nowadays. However, if we can find this guy/gal, I think HE/SHE should be made King/Queen!
While I applaud the question from a republican point of view I should point out that we are all of us of mixed origin. How many 'English' great-grandparents do you have? Saddo that I am, I've been asking people this question on and off for years and the answer is hardly *ever* "all eight are/ were English". Migrations, moves, war, commerce and the like have seen people move from one country to another throughout history. It is said that every single person of European origin is descended from the prophet Mohammed, for example. Though I agree that the Royals possibly have more 'foreign' blood than most, that's not necessarily a bad thing!
