I am trying to find out the size of the Bluestone and the Sarsen stones near the visitor centre at Stonehenge, plenty of photos on the internet but can't find a mention of the size, just a rough figure of height and width at widest point, also the texture!!
If anybody can help i would be most grateful

Thanks for your help will look later.
It's a while since you were able to get close to the stones to get a good comparison of stone height v. person height but I have some old photos which show the stones with people near them. The link says some stones are 30ft tall; from a comparison with my photos I would say that that includes the part of the stone which is underground.

Oh dear I think i may have not made my question clear enough. My fault I am looking for the details regarding the two stones standing side by side near the visitor centre, not the ones on the main part. There is one bluestone and one sarsen stone next to it. These are the two stones i am interested in.
Apologies again .
