A goddess from Greek mythology, daughter of Zeus and sister of Apollo. She was a huntress and is often depicted with a bow and arrows; she is also associated with birth, fertility, and fruitfulness. She was identified with the Roman goddess Diana and with Selene, goddess of the moon; her temple at Ephesus was one of the Seven Wonders of the World.

She was the daughter of the goddess of the moon, i can't remember her name, and is the goddess of the hunt, fertility, and the twin sister of Apolo.  she was meciful yet unmerciful.  she once turned a man who saw her bathing into a stag and sent his hunting dogs after him.
